Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ground paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Store spice mix in an airtight container for up to 1 year in a cool dry place.
  • Use as dry rub to season meat for grilling, frying or smoking meats like beef, pork and chicken. (see * Note)

Notes

*NOTE: Depending on how liberally you season your food and how large the cuts of meat you are cooking, you should get approximately 2-4 meals from one batch of this Cajun Spice Mix camping recipe.
