Camping For Foodies Sides Camping Recipes: This pasta salad tastes better if the flavors have a chance to marry for a day or two so consider making it at home, keep it refrigerated and it'll be ready to serve immediately at the campsite.
4pepperoncini peppers (see Note #1)jarred in brine, sliced into bite sized rings
1(10 oz) packagecherry tomatoeshalved
1/2red bell pepperdiced
1cupcrumbled feta cheese
3green onionschopped
1/2cupsliced Kalamata olives

1(6 oz) boxBowtie pastacooked according to package directions
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package directions.
Make the dressing by shaking in a salad shaker or by whisking ingredients in large bowl. Set aside.
Chop the veggies.
Toss all ingredients together. Then cover and chill. These flavors get better with time so it’s great to make this the day before you are going to serve it.
If our camping trip happens to be an extended extra-long weekend and I want to do most of my camping recipes prep at home, I will transport ingredients in separate Food Storage Containers and just toss everything together right before we are ready to eat.
