Braggs Factory Diner – Located on the historical Grand Avenue in downtown Phoenix, this vegan organic diner rivals any classic American diner. Liam Murtagh and his wife decided to open this super tiny place with a super tiny kitchen and a Phoenix-centric vibe. Some of their menu items include some pretty crazy named dishes that are also crazy on taste. Check these out: What the Waff?! (Sweet & savory coconut-curry waffle) and Secret Wonder Bat (Portobello rueben with sauer-apple-kraut, swiss cheese & vegan thousand island on toasted rye). They have some awesome pies too like the Peanut butter cup pie, Bourbon-soaked pecan pie and the Strawberry-Jalapeno Pie. As “Good Neighbors” they welcome the community in to experience Simpsons Trivia Night (check their site for the details.)

The Corner –  You’ll find this place in the heart of bustling downtown Phoenix in CityScape. They have full breakfast and lunch menus in a hip, urban atmosphere with a focus on sustainable, organic and local beer, wine and food. Chef Steven Sansone shared the secrets to their Greek Goddess pizza which is only one of their fabulous flavors…they have a “daily pizza” on the menu so you’ll never get bored with your pie. As “Good Neighbors”, you’ll find The Corner supporting the Susan G Komen Race, Phoenix 10K, Battle of the Bands for Children’s Hospital, various local artists and the Art Institute of Phoenix.

Kim Hanna’s Camping For Foodies – making Chicken Asparagus Crepes at the campsite in the Cave Creek Regional Park. In spite of getting a “D” in high school French class, Kim still likes food associated with the culture. Good food heals all poor grades! Her male family members once considered this a “chick dish” but after trying it the first time…they decided crepes were made for men too! The crepes can be made in advance and frozen but they are easy enough to do right at the campsite.  As a “Good Neighbor”, she donates a portion of her proceeds to World Vision-Building a Better World for Children.

Tune in next week for another action-packed episode!
