Hiking The Arizona National Scenic Trail Can Make You Think Positive Thoughts!

Do you think it’s a coincidence that a new segment of the Arizona Trail will be dedicated on Positive Thinking Day, Saturday, September 13, 2014? Probably…but you can’t deny the fact that the two really go together … like peanuts and beer … or … wine and cheese … or … well, you get the drift. Psst we’re compensated…see our disclosures.

Hiking The Arizona National Scenic Trail
Thinking positive thoughts is a trend that has really taken off. It’s a great way to live…makes you more healthy, happy, productive…and it’s a great gift to everyone around you. If you’re around people who have not embraced this trend, you REALLY appreciate being around people who ARE on the bandwagon!
Hiking is one activity that contributes to thinking positive thoughts. Especially if you are hiking on the Arizona Trail! The beauty of the landscape can almost cause you to be at a loss for words…and that’s a good thing! Our super-fast and constantly connected culture makes it hard to be quiet enough to reflect in a really meaningful way. I’m betting you have some “ah-ha moments” along your journey here.
Take a hike!
If you have not experienced the Arizona Trail (or any segment of it) this is the perfect time to do it. This is not just any trail, it is a National Scenic Trail which means it earned that distinction by a congressional and presidential designation.
Over its 800+ miles, the Arizona Trail crosses Arizona from Utah to Mexico. If you were crazy enough (some might call it ambitious enough) to hike the entire trail you would see deserts and forests, mountain ranges and canyons, wilderness areas and historic sites. If an 800-mile hike is just not in your future, you could also experience it by horseback or mountain bike. Still not working for your schedule? Dayhikes are great alternatives if you are limited on time but still want to experience the trail.
