Caesar’s Salad Dressing That Does Not Need “The Rule”!

Do you adhere to “The Rule” in your family? That is, if everyone has a “lingering perfume” after eating a meal fit for the fiercest vampire slayer…you all “Cancel Each Other Out”. No snarky comments allowed…Period! But here’s the amazing part; we don’t even need to put “The Rule” into effect in order for our entire camping clan to say “yes” to this spectacular side salad. It’s just that good! We love having a salad tossed in this homemade Caesar’s dressing as the perfect accompaniment to Drunken Meatballs

As if it couldn’t get better…there’s more! If you make a double batch of the creamy, salty, garlicky goodness, whatever you don’t use on the salad can be used as a sauce for a fantastic baked chicken dish. Just spread the dressing in the bottom of a baking dish, add chicken breasts and bake until bubbly and chicken is cooked through. That is a no-fuss meal requiring absolutely no apologies! Take my word for it and make a double batch of this dressing; you’ll be glad you did!

1 Batch makes about a cup of dressing. Here’s how you make it.

Mix ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use:

3 cloves garlic-minced
¾ c mayo
5 anchovy fillets-minced
2 T shredded parmesan cheese
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1 t Dijon mustard
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt and pepper –to taste
