Shredded BBQ Beef Sandwiches
These Shredded BBQ Beef Sandwiches are so simple and affordable. This is just one of the dinner recipes I make using my easy 2-Ingredient Crockpot Shredded Beef!
Why I Love This
The reason this meal is so simple is that it uses pre-cooked meat. I use my crockpot or pressure cooker to cook the meat at home. Then, I portion it out and freeze it using my food sealer. At camp, I can turn this basic shredded beef into a ton of different meals with different flavor profiles.
How To Make
Step 1. Heat the pre-cooked meat using your favorite cooking equipment. I like using my Blackstone because I can heat the meat and toast the buns with one piece of gear. Then, I just scrape off the food and clean the surface with water so it’s ready for the next recipe. Cleanup is so easy and I save water when we’re boondocking.

Step 2. Add BBQ sauce to the meat. Toss until heated through.
Step 3. Toast the buns so they are warmed and slightly crisp on the cut sides.
Step 4. I always serve my BBQ sandwiches with coleslaw in a creamy dressing. Sometimes I serve it on the side but it’s also nice piled right on the sandwich.
