With warmer temperatures, longer days and the July 4 holiday, it only makes sense that July is National Grilling Month. I love grilling outdoors whether I’m in my own backyard or at a remote camping location. Lately, there has been a bit of an issue grilling at the campsite though…super dry conditions and wildfires breaking out across the state has resulted in fire restrictions in most camp locations. What to do??? I give my little cast iron Panini pan a workout! It’s my go-to cooking utensil on many occasions as a replacement for cooking over the open flame of a campfire or a charcoal grill. I’ve recently been using it a lot. Here are a few of those examples. Psst we’re compensated…see our disclosures.

  1. I agree the panini pan is a must have and don’t forget about the bacon press.
