Camping Is Fun
So many people think camping is fun! Non-campers just don’t understand why people like camping so I asked my community to share their inspirations, photos and videos to be included in my YouTube video to explain to the world why this outdoor activity is totally awesome.
Why Do People Like Camping
There are many reasons enthusiasts love getting out in nature to camp. Here are the top 6 reasons people love camping.
- Experiencing new places
- It’s always fun to go to new places and encounter interesting people, cultures, food and activities.
- It is a budget-friendly vacation compared to traditional travel.
- Quality time with family and friends
- It allows people to connect with the most important people in their lives.
- It provides time to focus on the present moment and surroundings.
- Many campers take the opportunity to do a digital detox on their trips.
- Connection with nature
- You can get up-close to experience plants and animals.
- When camping in an area with low light pollution, the stargazing is amazing.
- Adventure and exploration
- There is always something to do. Some of the most popular activities include hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing and photography.
- Outdoor cooking
- Many campers say they don’t have time to cook at home but really enjoy the slower pace of campsite cooking. It allows them to enjoy the creative process and provides relaxing outdoor settings when eating.
- Improved wellbeing
- There are many health benefits associated with the fresh air, exercise and sunshine you get when camping.
- The relaxed atmosphere also reduces your stress level.
