Do you use the best camping gear when you are making yummy Dutch oven camping recipes? One of the most popular manufacturers of camp Dutch ovens is Lodge but they don’t stop at making really quality pots and pans.

Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven Accessories
Psst we’re compensated…see our disclosures.
Lodge Rust Eraser
You’ll never have to throw away rusted cast iron cookware again!
The Lodge Rust Eraser removes rust bringing your equipment down to bare iron.
- Then you just re-season it and it’ll be like new.
- Any piece of Lodge cast iron cookware can be restored with this handy accessory.
Lodge Dutch Oven Table
You definitely don’t need a Lodge Outdoor Cooking Table but it is really nice to have one for four main reasons.
- It allows you to stand while you are cooking.
- I has 12-inch-high windscreens on three sides shielding your coals and oven from heat loss due to wind.
- It accommodates two Dutch ovens at the same time.
- It has adjustable leveling feet to stabilize your ovens when you are cooking on uneven ground.

Lodge Tripods In 3 Sizes
Cooking directly over the campfire is the way most campers like to use their cast iron Dutch ovens.
Lodge Dutch oven tripods come in different styles.
The 43.5-Inch Lodge Camp Dutch Oven Tripod is the shorter model.
It has 43.5 inch legs and a 24 inch adjustable chain.
Lodge Camp Dutch Oven Tripod, 43.5-Inch
The Lodge Tall Boy Tripod is the taller model
It has 60 inch legs and a 36 inch adjustable chain.
If you want a little more flexibility in height, there is another option that gives you the best of both worlds.
The 40 to 60-Inch Tall Lodge Adjustable Camp Tripod has adjustable legs in addition to the adjustable chain.
It ranges from 40-60 inches tall so you can easily cook over small campfire rings or wide ones.

Lodge Camp Dutch Oven Lid Lifter
There are only a few ways to easily get a hot lid off of your oven.
The 16-Inch Lodge Deluxe Lid Lifter is one of the easiest tools to use and it has the most control with nice grips on the double handles.
The Bar Stock Lodge Camp Dutch Oven Lid Lifter is a slightly simpler design but the 15 inch heavy duty steel design works well too.

Lodge Cast Iron Trivet
Lodge makes several different styles of trivets for their cast iron cookware.
The Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Skillet Trivet has an “antler design” which was inspired by the shape of their skillet.
The enamel finish resists chipping and cracking and the rubber feet prevent slipping and scratching.
Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Skillet, 8 Inch Trivet
The Lodge Silicone Magnet Trivet is nice to use with legless cast iron Dutch ovens.
The silicone protects surfaces from the heat of the oven and the magnet keeps the trivet on the bottom of the pan.
Just don’t forget to remove the trivet before your next cooking event.
Lodge Silicone Magnet Trivet, 8-inch
The Lodge Cast Iron Meat Rack/Trivet is my personal favorite because it is dual purpose camping gear.
It works like any other trivet, protecting a surface from the heat of a hot pan.
It is also designed to be used as a rack inside Lodge Dutch ovens that are 4 quarts or larger.
In this capacity, this little gadget raises foods from the bottom of the oven to prevent scorching. It is great when cooking larger cuts of meat and baking pies in a pie plate.
I personally love this little piece of campfire cooking equipment and I believe it is underappreciated by most campers because they just don’t know how to use them.

Lodge Dutch Oven Liners
When you don’t want to deal with messy clean-up, a Dutch oven liner is a great solution!
Lodge makes two types of liners: paper and foil.
The Lodge Manufacturing Parchment Paper Dutch Oven Liners are nice because each liner is cut to a 20-inch diameter so they fit any size of Lodge camp oven.
You just place the liner inside your oven and form it to fit.
When you are done cooking, just throw away this 100-percent biodegradable disposable liner.

The Lodge 12-Inch Aluminum Foil Dutch Oven Liners fit … you guessed it … 12-inch/6 quart Lodge Dutch ovens!
Lodge was really smart when they designed this foil liner with handles … it is easy to lift food out of the oven with these.
This style of liner is made with heavy gauge aluminum and it is 100% recyclable.
Lodge 12-Inch Aluminum Foil Dutch Oven Liners, 3-Pack
You can find other brands of camp Dutch oven accessories including foil liners without handles.
If you want to cook over fire but don’t want to use a tripod, a Lodge cast iron stand is just what you need!
The Lodge Fire And Cook Stand is designed so the internal rings hold kindling to start your fire with ample air flow.
You use the stand to hold the kindling to start the fire then it becomes the stand to hold your cast iron gear for cooking.
The stand can be used vertically or horizontally.
Lodge 4-in-1 Camp Dutch Oven Tool
When people think of a Lodge lid stand they think of this tool but it is actually so much more!
The Lodge 4-in-1 Camp Dutch Oven Tool is a really versatile piece of equipment:
It is a cook stand under a cast iron camp oven or under an inverted Dutch oven lid as an additional cooking surface.
It is a lid stand to hold the lid of a Dutch oven when you are stirring or checking on your food as it cooks.
It is a bail lifter when you want to pick up your oven to rotate it during cooking or remove it from the heat when you are finished cooking.
It is a lid lifter when you need to remove a hot lid during cooking or for serving.

Lodge Cookware Accessories For Frying

Lodge Splatter Screen
If you do a lot of frying in your Lodge cast iron cookware, you may want a bit of protection from spattering hot oil.
The Lodge Splatter Screen comes in several sizes to cover Dutch ovens and skillets to prevent splattering grease from burning the cook but still provides visibility of the food while deep-frying and browning.
Lodge Splatter Screen, 13 Inch
Lodge Deep Fry Baskets
If you are using your camp Dutch oven to deep-fry foods like French fries, it is easier to use a basket to lift the food out of the oven rather than trying to fish them out with a slotted spoon.
The Lodge Deep Fry Basket is available in three different sizes and has a folding handle to make transportation and storage more convenient.
Lodge Dutch Oven Tote Bags
After you find the best Dutch oven for camping, you really want to take care of it.
Personally, I can’t imagine having Dutch ovens and not having tote bags for them.
For storage, I place my small Dutch oven accessories inside my Dutch ovens and then zip everything up in tote bags which keeps my equipment clean, organized and easy to carry.
The Lodge Dutch Oven Tote Bag is available in 4 sizes to fit different sized Dutch ovens.

Lodge Dutch Oven Tongs
It is really nice to have a long set of tongs for cooking food and positioning charcoal when cooking with your camp Dutch oven.
The Lodge Camp Dutch Oven Tongs are 16 inches long, made from stainless steel and have a fastener that slides to hold the tongs closed for storage.

Lodge Cast Iron Mini Cake Pan
If you like baking muffins, biscuits and mini cakes AND you have a camp Dutch oven that is larger than the 12-inch size, you can use the Lodge Cast Iron Mini Cake Pan to make perfectly formed baked goods.
If you don’t have a Dutch oven large enough to handle the mini cake pan, you can still make muffins and mini cakes using cupcake liners but they won’t look as pretty … as you can see with my Blueberry Lemon Dutch Oven Muffins Camping Recipe.
Lodge Cast Iron Cleaning Tools
Your investment will last for generations when properly cleaning and seasoning cast iron Dutch oven cookware occurs after each use.
Lodge Cast Iron Cleaning Brush
One of the easiest ways to clean your cast iron Dutch oven is to do it shortly after the food is removed from the pan … before it gets dried and stuck-on.
This Lodge Scrub Brush does a great job because it has stiff bristles that are densely packed.
Lodge 10 Inch Scrub Brush. Cast Iron Scrub Brush with Ergonomic Design and Dense Bristles
Lodge Pan Scrapers
One of the most popular camping stocking stuffers for Dutch oven cooks may surprise you.
These Lodge Pan Scrapers work wonderfully to clean cast iron Dutch ovens and skillets.
